Sadhna Makhija is a Level 4 ACA Registered Counsellor, Clinical Member of PACFA and the Australian Hypnotherapy Association, and a Supervisor with the Australian Hypnotherapy Association. She founded Mission You Health with a commitment to integrated, person-centred therapy that meets people where they are — not where a textbook says they should be.
Having lived and worked across Asia, Africa, and Australia, Sadhna brings genuine cultural sensitivity and understanding to every therapeutic relationship. She works with clients aged 16 to 65, individually, and collaborates with GPs, specialists, and community services as part of a whole-person approach to care.
Her approach combines counselling, psychotherapy, clinical hypnotherapy, trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, Gestalt, Timeline Therapy, NLP, mindfulness, and breathwork — drawing on whatever approach best serves each client's story and goals.

Your Journey
Start with a free 20-minute call — online or in person in Westmead. No commitment, no pressure. It is a chance to ask questions, share a little about what is going on, and see whether the approach feels right for you.
The first session is about understanding your story. Sadhna takes time to listen, ask questions, and understand your emotional needs, background, and what you are hoping to work on. There is no rush.
Based on your story and goals, Sadhna draws on the approaches that best fit your situation — counselling, psychotherapy, clinical hypnotherapy, or a combination. Sessions are always tailored to you.
Sessions build over time. As well as exploring what is happening, you develop practical tools, coping strategies, and new ways of responding that you can use in your daily life — not just in the therapy room.
